My journey started in application development in the mining industry followed by managing corporate networks for large financial services companies. Two start-up's followed, the first in healthcare technology with a mission to move the primary healthcare industry towards a digitally transformed future. The second start-up's mission was to address the innate need of the distributed population of the large continent that is Australia, for visual communications and collaboration. This unified communications services business enabled new ways of working and collaborating for ASX leading corporates while also bringing education and healthcare services to remote communities.
A recent step on my journey was to immerse myself in Asia, to understand the culture, the different ways of doing business and coming to grips with the challenges of running a multinational APAC wide business. Spending 5+ years based in Singapore further honed my skills in strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, product management, distributed team leadership, organizational design, digital marketing, go to market multicultural acquisition led growth strategies.
My current consulting, learning and research focus to find better ways of doing structured innovation, nimble organisational change/enterprise architecture and successful digital business transformation execution. My focus is to now take all that collected experience and learning in business and technology plus the latest leading digital transformation methods, innovation approaches and emerging technologies to co-create with customers, growing and profitable digitally transformed businesses.
